Who do I see?

I work with Deaf / hearing impaired babies, children, and teenagers.

I specialise in working with children aged 0-5 years for ALL types of communication difficulties. These include concerns around the following areas:

  • Attention & Listening (delayed skills)

  • Play

  • Language Delay (understanding & talking)

  • Language Disorder (understanding & talking)

  • Speech sound delay

  • Speech sound disorder (e.g. dyspraxia)

  • Fluency (aka stammering / stuttering)

  • Social skills

A child can have a difficulty with their talking, speech sounds, etc, as their primary need - this means they will not have any other delays / difficulties in their general development.

For some children, their difficulties with communication are a consequence to an underlying condition - diagnosis for these are often given by a Paediatrician (Doctor).

I see children with the following diagnoses:

  • Deafness

  • Autism

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Downs Syndrome

  • Specific Language Impairment

If you are still wondering if I can / will see your child, please just call or email me.

What do I offer?

I offer assessment and therapy sessions. Having an assessment session with me does not mean you have to commit to therapy sessions. Please note: clients must have an assessment session with me before I can commence therapy sessions.
